My art class was shown this on friday and I thought that it was very interesting. It is bout China’s first international artist, Ai Weiwei, who is a very out spoken political activist against the communist party in his country. I just recently found out that he was arrested not to long ago.

its been awhile....
wow. i havent been on in forever! opps. well, heres an artist that i think has some awesome work. His name is Joseph Minton and he is an abstract expressionist painter. i stumbled apon him while i was googling fauvism pics, looking for a style to learn in art class. His works tend to be on the dark side at first glance, but really are fantastic, in my opinion. the link only has some of his pics...
